Dermasmooth is a cosmetic treatment in which one of our expert Aestheticians use a device to gently remove dead skin cells and vellus hairs leaving skin smooth with a beautiful, healthy glow. At Trouvaille Med Spa in Bourbonnais, we offer a basic Dermasmooth Facial. Dermasmoothing can also be added to an advanced facial or in combination with a peel.

What to Expect from Dermasmooth

Before

The first step is a free consultation with one of our expert Aestheticians for an
assessment. Together, we will determine if this is the best treatment to meet your
needs.

During

Our Dermasmooth Facial lasts approximately an hour and a half. A Dermasmooth treatment typically takes no more than 30 minutes and is usually combined with one of our facials or peels.

After

  • Use skincare products recommended by your Aesthetician
  • Do not use Hydroxyl Acids or Retinols following your treatment for approximately 3 days
  • Do not use harsh scrubs or loofahs for at least 3 days
  • Avoid direct sun exposure and wear sunscreen daily
  • Avoid vigorous activity and heat
